Ford Kuga Engine Oil & Filter Change
Our basic package for when your Ford Kuga needs some TLC but is not yet due an Interim or Full Service. Our Engine Oil & Filter Change package combines an oil change and oil filter replacement with a range of vehicle safety checks and is ideal for anyone wanting to ensure their car passes the MOT test first time.
Ford Kuga Interim Service
We recommend having an Interim Service every 6,000 miles or 6 months (whichever is sooner) to keep your car safe and roadworthy between full services. Our Interim Service package is ideal for drivers who use their vehicle for regular, short journeys in and around town or for those drivers who have a high mileage and want peace of mind between annual services. Our Interim Service includes an oil change and oil filter replacement plus a range of additional inspections including an exhaust and suspension check plus a visual brake check.
Ford Kuga Full Service
Our Full Service is ideal as an annual maintenance programme for your car. We recommend your car receives a Full Service every 12,000 miles or 12 months - whichever is sooner. A Full Service each year will reduce the risk of breakdown and can help maintain the value of the vehicle. Our Full Service includes all items included in the Interim Service package plus a thorough inspection of your engine and other components including replacement air filter and power steering fluid topped up (where required).

Ford Manufacturer Service
If you are keen to follow Ford's recommended service schedule, Kwik Fit offers a genuine and equivalent alternative to dealership servicing. Using official Ford Kuga service schedules, we can provide a service specific to your car's make, model, age and mileage as recommended by Ford. Your service will be carried out by specially qualified Kwik Fit service technicians using quality parts that are of original equipment standard. Best of all, a manufacturer service from Kwik Fit will uphold your vehicle warranty.
Is my warranty really protected?
Yes, provided your vehicle is still within its warranty period, a Kwik Fit stamp in your logbook won't invalidate your warranty agreement. In 2002, European Parliament passed a law on Block Exemption deeming the practice of manufacturers forcing car owners to go to dealerships for servicing in order to uphold warranty as too restrictive. As a result, all manufacturers must make available to us their service schedules and on-board computer information which means a manufacturer service from Kwik Fit won't invalidate your warranty.

Servicing for PHEV models
Due to the increasing popularity of PHEV models amongst motorists and car manufactures we also offer PHEV servicing here at KwikFit. As PHEV models work in a similar way to combustion engines, they also require a full service at the same intervals as their standard petrol and diesel counterparts.
What's involved in a PHEV service?
Even though PHEV variants operate in a similar way to internal combustion engine vehicles, if you're looking to service your ford kuga hybrid there are several additional checks that will need to be undertaken as part of a PHEV service.
- Brake binding check - Regenerative braking is an integral part of how PHEV vehicles operate. However, brake binding can prevent this key mechanism from working as intended, which is why as part of your ford kuga plug in hybrid service we check for potential brake binding and carry out any repairs if required.
- Inverter coolant check - Checking for coolant leaks is also an integral and important part of a service on a Ford Kuga PHEV. However, inverter coolant isn't the same as engine coolant, inverter coolant is required for the energy conversion that takes place between the DC and AC power in the electric motor.
- Cable check - A visual inspection of high voltage cables will be carried out, the purpose is to check for external damage and ensure all cables are in full working order.
- Fault code check - This check will ensure there aren't any faults with key components such as the vehicle's battery and all other parts monitored by the vehicle's ECUs (Electronic Control Units).
Please note: We are able to service the majority of vehicles at all of our service centres nationwide but some vehicle exclusions may apply. If your vehicle has a Digital Service Record (DSR) we will not be able to update or reset this.
